1. Services Provided

Gentle Journey Homehealth & CDS Services provides non-medical home care and support services, Consumer Directed Services (CDS) guidance, private-pay restorative mobility sessions, and BLS CPR certification classes.

We do not provide medical treatment, nursing services, diagnoses, or medical advice.

2. Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Disclaimer – Missouri

Consumer Directed Services (CDS) is a Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) program that allows eligible individuals to direct and manage their own personal care services.

Gentle Journey Homehealth & CDS Services:

  • Does not determine Medicaid or CDS eligibility

  • Does not approve or deny CDS services

  • Does not replace state agencies, case managers, or care coordinators

Eligibility, authorization, and service hours are determined by the State of Missouri and its authorized representatives. Our role is limited to providing information, guidance, and administrative support in accordance with Missouri CDS program guidelines.

3. Use of Website

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. Use of this website does not establish a caregiver-client relationship until services are formally agreed upon.

4. Scheduling & Availability

All services are subject to availability. Scheduling, staffing, and service plans may change due to client needs, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Payments & Fees

  • Private-pay services (including restorative mobility sessions and CPR classes) must be paid as agreed.

  • Pricing may vary based on individual needs, service scope, and location.

  • CDS services are subject to Missouri Medicaid program rules and authorization.

6. Cancellations & No-Shows

Clients are asked to provide reasonable notice for cancellations. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in service limitations or additional fees.

7. Limitation of Liability

Gentle Journey Homehealth & CDS Services is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages related to:

  • Pre-existing conditions

  • Client refusal of safety recommendations

  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Participation in restorative mobility sessions and CPR training involves physical activity and is voluntary.

8. Text Messaging & Communication

By contacting us via phone or text message, you consent to receive service-related communications. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP.”

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
